Kim Kock, P.E., President: is a 1978 graduate of the University of Nebraska, has more than 35 years of experience in the design and construction administration of a wide variety of civil and municipal engineering projects. Those projects include: municipal improvements, athletic and educational facilities, commercial and institutional developments, storm drainage and flood plain improvements, major roadways and highways, and water and wastewater treatment and conveyance facilities. Kim has also provided construction management and inspection services on numerous projects throughout his career.
Michael Cuppy, P.E., P.L.S., Vice President: graduated in 1999 from Colorado State University-Pueblo, has more than 16 years of experience in civil/site design, master planning, and surveying on a wide variety of projects. Those projects include: storm drainage and flood plain improvements, highway and roadway improvements, commercial and residential developments, utility treatment and distribution facilities, athletic facility improvements, and horizontal and vertical geometric design process for roadways. In addition to his project planning and design responsibilities, Mike currently manages all surveying related activities performed by NorthStar and has extensive experience in boundary, right-of-way, topographic, improvement, and cadastral surveys; section breakdown; horizontal and vertical control (for aerial mapping); ALTA/ASCM Land Title Surveys; and construction and utility staking.
David Stravia, P.L.S., Senior Surveying Consultant: is a 1967 graduate of the University of Southern Colorado, has over 40 years of experience as a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in the State of Colorado. He is proficient in: boundary, right-of-way, topographic, improvement, and cadastral surveys; section breakdown; horizontal and vertical control (for aerial mapping); ALTA/ASCM Land Title Surveys; and construction and utility staking. David’s survey project experiences include major municipal, commercial, residential, airport, and athletic facility projects. Additionally, David is proficient in, and manages the horizontal and vertical geometric design process for roadways associated with the firm’s civil/site and land development projects
